What an inspirational SOTU! With that Obama again claimed the high moral ground, like back in 2008. The campaign should be exciting, and could one say already sewn up? The president rightly made the economy the major issue. It always is in every US election but this time he zeroed in on the growing income inequality as the one burning economic issue he’ll tackle. That is the one issue that brought demonstrators out onto the street these last few weeks and that’s the issue where the opponents have nothing to offer, except more of the same. The fact is almost all the growth in the last 30 years has been confined to the top 5% class, with wages almost flat-lined. During the same time, the tax burden on the top 5% class has almost halved. Go, Rais wa Taifa Amerika, Obama! Four more years in which also to further world peace.
