Being out of power today in Kampala (2 out of 3 days these days) I went and spent the afternoon at Kabira Club and watched cricket while doing the internet and the book. The Pakistan bowlers were unplayable and England just managed to avoid an inning's. They were supreme over India in England during the summer. India won the World Cup on their grounds, now they are being humiliated by Australia. If the first test between Pakistan and England is a guide the MCC are going to have a thought coming. UAE is practically Pakistan's "home ground" now.
Which brings a thought to my mind: How do you judge the best cricket team? Grounds make a big difference and playing in England, with your fingertips frozen, is something else again.

Aga boy from Bakuli: Pakistan Zindabaad, Hidustan murdabaad. That will get you a lot of 'Indian' or shall we say 'Hindooda' buyers for your tome to the great AGA !!
ReplyDeleteTotal attendance in Dubai was 322. India vs Australia 53000.
UAE is your beloved Pakistan's home ground because no one wants to play against them in their country - a terrorist heaven if ever there was one.
This post became another opportunity for the frothcoming to spit out more anti-Aga, anti-Ismaili, anti-Muslim froth. Ahlan wa sahlan - consider my home your home but just don't treat it as such!and wipe the iPhone screen eh.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope Tendulkar gets his 100th 100 2morrow - pleez, just to salvage our pride!
Ah!! Y'Ali Madat eh! Just to remind you, Tendulkar plays for India not your beloved Pakistan.
ReplyDeleteStop sitting on the fence once and for for all and show your true colours.
Wot a clown from a high-up family, can't spell passage, doesn't know the difference between adapt and adept, writes definitely with an A - and can't (I was going to miss out the apostrphe) contain his froth against Ismailis. Must have had a terrible childhood vis-a-vis the toonka faraks. I am just thrilled as a person of Indian origin that Tendulkar is *the* best cricketer (the nony spells it with an extra e) ever ever ever. Am I pleased India are being humiliated by Australia? Is the world flat? Am I tear-my-hair-off mad that Pakistan are being beaten by England? I am just pleased they've recomposed after those match-fixing scandals. I didn't watch them for 2 years. Here's the test: India v Pakistan, whom would I support? "A good match" - down to the last over, whether its test match/limited overs/or T20. Of course according to MightyMouse I say all of the above so "Hindus" don't "boycott" my book. When the book's launched by the President at the 50th (independence)/40th (expulsion) reunion at the G8 Munyonyo resort of Sudhir Ruparelia ("he's in the book")Nony should parade around as a sandwich man shrouded. On one side "Don't buy this book, it's AGA propaganda - not in Uganda!" on the other side: "Bakuli anti-Hindu PhD." If he comes with the of claque Dehradunis, the Med cruisers and the Polish airhead more slogans can be suggested.
DeleteFunny how all these 'tributes' to Hindu Gujaratis have popped up all of a sudden. You sound a bit worried now coming up with your usual nonsense of an 'e' here and an 'a' there.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry yaar, HE the Pres. will buy 1000 copies, Dr 'R' 1000 and then there are the 4 Ismaili 'billionaires' in Vancouver at a 1000 each. That makes it 6000 at $99.99 each for a total of
$ 600,000. Surely that should set you up for the rest of your life eh!
Now, how could I have forgotten the order for a 1000 from Sardinia! See, now you are at $ 700,000. There you go Bakuli boy.
Time to move to Karachi.
